CoRIMedia, a research consortium on digital imaging, video, audio and multimedia, was launched in September 2001, thanks to the financing of Valorisation Recherche Québec (VQR), Bell Canada' support, Cefrio, Copernic and Geomatic Canada (CITS). CoRIMedia has recently become a Canadian research network thanks to the financing of Canadian Heritage as part of its Canadian Culture Online Funding Programs (CCOP). This consortium has already 15 researchers in 7 Canadian universities, 12 partners, and more than 60 graduated students and 19 professionals researchers and post-doctoral trainees.
